Dr. Flor Limas - Born Again OBGYN

I just delivered my baby on January 26 and I can say I had such a great experience with Dr.Limas and her partner Dr.Newton. Even though Dr.Newton delivered me ,I couldn't have asked for any one else better. He is very compassionate and actually cared to hear me out for any concern I had. I was a high risk pregnancy so i saw Dr.Limas and got to see her at the Majority of my appointments. She was very reassuring as well and kept a close eye on me. I would definitely recommend her for anyone that I know who is also a high risk pregnancy or wants a doctor who really cares for your concerns.

Went to the office the first half of my pregnancy and my lab results were never told to me. Was told of some medical issues but not explained in a way I understand. I moved cities and tried to get them to send my medical records to my new ob and was told that because I had sent them to a birthing facility (which I could no longer do due to the medical issue) I had to pay a fine before my records were sent to my new obgyn. Reception was not helpful in the times I’ve called to figure out how to get my records. It’s been almost a month since I’ve moved and I am unable to get proper care due to not having my medical records transferred over (Update : apparently they had my medical request for the past week! They had originally told me I needed to pay in order to get them transferred! 😡)

Avoid this place if you can! The only nurses i saw were Jo and Brenda. Day of delivery i had dr. Bernal who i only saw once. Limas came into the room after i delivered and i asked her how much of a dosage of my meds i was needing since i had already given birth. Her response was "Tu tanteate". I was flabbergasted i mean she is supposed to be the medical professional here how am i supposed to know how much to take??? The audacity this woman has to be able to answer this way is unprofessional and screams negligence. And they force you to deliver at DHR because they live closer. If you're high risk avoid this place!

Now that I have delivered my baby on 08/31/2023. I also want to share my experience with Dr. Flor Limas and her staff. Dr. Limas decided to do an induction due to the various health issues I had during my pregnancy. The major one being I have chronic high blood pressure. Dr. Limas decided that it was better for me to be induced at 37 weeks, which is full term because my baby had the weight he need to have. She explained to me that my blood pressure had been stable and it was better I delivered my baby now instead of waiting for my blood pressure to be high and cause a bigger issue. I had a total of 11 hours of labor and I didn’t even have to push my baby out, he slipped right out. I chose DHR women’s hospital and the the nurses were excellent. My mom and I were amazed at all the professional work and excellent care they had with us. Finally, I had FMLA forms and short term disability forms I needed her staff to fill out at the clinic, and the ladies were very friendly and had my paperwork ready even sooner than expected. Hello Everyone. I want to take the time to give Dr. Flor Limas a 5 start ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review because when my main doctor referred me to her clinic, I wasn’t sure if she was the right fit for me. I saw her reviews, but I also realized that 3 of my cousin’s had her for the care of their pregnancies and 1 of my aunts sees her for gynecologist check ups. Also, one of my relatives works with her at the DHR hospital as a nurse, and she also recommended Dr. Limas work. My family had nothing but good things to say about her and her staff. I decided to go ahead and give them a chance, and so far it’s been a great experience. I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. I have had blood work done to test the gender of my baby and genetic testing. I’ve had multiple ultrasounds including one 4D ultrasound, which is something not a lot of clinics offer here in the valley. I’ve had 3 different coworkers pay between $300-$400 elsewhere to get that kind of ultrasound done because their OBGYN clinic doesn’t offer it. I was very surprised to find out how much technology has advanced since I had my first born 12 years ago. I highly recommend Dr. Limas and her knowledgeable staff. Everyone has been courteous and sweet to me on every single appointment I’ve had since February 2023 up until now. I am very satisfied with the care and treatment Dr. Limas and her staff give. They are strict about who and when additional adults can come in with you on the appointments so listen carefully when you can and cannot bring someone with you, whether it’s your spouse or mom. Also, no children under the age of 18 are allowed inside the clinic. Therefore, if you have little ones make sure you plan ahead for someone to watch them while you go to your appointments. I don’t mind because I understand there are rules to follow, but if you have a hard time following rules then this might not be the clinic for you. Overall the service Dr. Flor Limas - Born Again OBGYN clinic offers is in my opinion excellent.
